My company is doing one of those “Autism S**aks” things where they encourage everyone to wear blue on Tuesdays. My wardrobe has a lot of blue so I have to double check every time I grab something that it isn’t Tuesday.

On Tuesdays I try to wear red if I have something clean, but I don’t own a lot of red.

Edith Piaf

Me standing on a gorgeous stone balcony outside of a grand ballroom, breathing in some fresh air because the fumes of the champagne and the loud joyous noise gave me slight sensory overload. The wind beautifully moves my gown.

On a scale of 1 to 5, how much of a bad idea is taking Mnemon as a Mentor in a Dragon-blooded game focused on saving the Realm from itself?

you could ask @mr-mercutio, his Air Aspect Mnemon Kaylin took his own grandma as a 5-dot Mentor in exactly that kind of game. went super well for him as you can imagine

My character became the Unnamed Emperor who took over the Imperial Manse with a crack team of Sworn Kin and two anathema, all functioning under a buttload of Sidereal astrology! Mnemon would have been so proud/furious, but she was dead, having been assassinated by a Sidereal akuma. With her dying breath, she told me to carry on her legacy, which I took to mean seize the throne myself and save the Realm from itself. I don’t think she actually meant it that way, but I was notorious for thinking the best of grandma.

(And then I found her ghost trying to take over Stygia, and I smuggled it into the foyer of the Imperial Manse to serve as my advisor. Unfortunately I think I took after great-grandma as far my attitudes towards the Immaculate Philosophy, as opposed to Mnemon herself.)

it’s true i was one of the Anathema

As far as actually having Mnemon as my 5-dot mentor, it was a lot of what you’d imagine. On the one hand, ridiculously easy access to new sorcery, martial arts tutors, artifacts, whathaveyou. On the other hand, being told point-blank at one point: “Grandson, I’m trying to make you a rook on my Gateway board, but if you insist on acting like a pawn I’ll treat you like one.”

Grandma was so loving.

When we were dealing with akuma problems and demons all over the place, she arranged to kidnap a Bride of Ahlat and have her shipped to Arjuf just to tutor me in Golden Janissary Style so I could better deal with creatures of darkness. Of course, one of the reasons we were having so many problems with akuma and demons was because she’d literally arranged my birth as part of a ploy involving a 2nd circle demon trying to create a grandchild with the destiny to be a chosen of the Maidens so she could get a mole in the Sidereal fellowship.

Having Mnemon as a 5-dot mentor was complicated.

… I said it once, I’ll say it again: holy shit.

My lunar exalted… Shajiir, the Blighted Descending Night! They are a No Moon caste, very shaman/omnyoji oriented (spell flinger, great at mixing “potions”) They do have the knack that lets them switch between male and female, although it’s not always under Shajiir’s control when they are a male or female. Their animal form is a fennec, and they don’t have a war form. Got some Jeffree Star influences with a bit of a Japanese flair to it.

This adorable little robot is designed to make sure its photosynthesising passenger is well taken care of. It moves towards brighter light if it needs, or hides in the shade to keep cool. When in the light, it rotates to make sure the plant gets plenty of light. It even likes to play with humans.

Oh, and apparently, it gets antsy when it’s thirsty.

The robot is actually an art project called “Sharing Human Technology with Plants” by a roboticist named Sun Tianqi. It’s made from a modified version of a Vincross HEXA robot, and in his own words, it’s purpose is “to explore the relationship between living beings and robots.”

I don’t care if it’s silly. I want one.

Happy Sunday!!

Today I decided to draw my Lunar bro and powerhouse from the South – Warden’s Vigilance.  My friend’s full moon lunar, he is probably one of the coolest things I’ve experienced about the game, being a shining example of Luna’s might and prowess.

You may see him up and about in his human form, but in a battle you’ll have to deal with his 20-foot-tall titan lion form, with a set of moonsilver armour and gargantuan sword to match.
