One of my favorite exalted characters I will never get to play (that’s a long list) is a God Blood named Jude.

He’s a child of the God of the Beach and he works at the bureau of weather. He is that chill surfer dude stereotype except he unironically enjoys paperwork and he wears an oversized lab coat because he thinks it makes him look professional.

He’s friends with another character, a sideral of journeys named Crossroads Wanderer. She calls in favors, usually for unplanned rain showers for suitably dramatic moments.

this didn’t turn out at all how i wanted but i am getting sick of it sitting around half-done for weeks! i love this cat child so much though so i’ll have to do something else with him again soon.

this is Widdershins, a No Moon black cat Lunar who was part of a mortal cult seeking the secrets of sorcery. they succeeded! they unlocked it! and then Widdy stole the secret, ran away, and ate it. Luna looked down and was like, “Nice.” so now he has like several times as much sorcery, and necromancy to boot.

the cult resents this a lot, but Widdy loves them, and they can’t keep him out, so he keeps showing up to show off all the super-cool sorcery he’s learned, while the cult sort of seethes in jealousy. later when Widdy leaves he usually leaves behind a secret or neat sorcerous tool or tiny artifact widget, because he really does love this cult and wants to encourage it to succeed! he just also wants to show off how cool and clever he was.

it didn’t get across well but their Tell is a pair of glowing amber cat eyes in their shadow.

this took me many many many hours and my hand feels kind of like Harv looks! however that is OKAY bc i wanted to make something extra special for one of my favorite people in the whole freakin world and i think it turned out pretty damn good!!

anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY BINCH ily and all your delightful characters and i hope you have. an Excellent birthday day filled with good food and cool gifts and friends. i owe you a print of this but we’ll figure that out later.
