There’s plenty of sharks I don’t like, but it’s usually on a shark by shark basis; I try to look at them as a much more peaceful whole.

I own a Tshirt that says: “I am NOT a man eater” and advocates for the protection and love of these ‘sea kittens’
I’ve donated money to charity to help save sharks and gone out of my way to educate myself and others on these dangerously misunderstood lovelies
But
a) I wanted to make an out of left field ‘Snakes on a Plane’ reference
&
b) This one shark has been the bane of my existence for too long! We’ve both killed each other once now (just killed him again, though he’ll be back) and he’s just a huge pain (in the best way)
If anything, I’m mildly upset that we’re using a shark in the same way that media does; perpetuating harmful myths that lead to people not caring about this majestic and incredibly necessary creature.
However, I’m also aware that my friends are all aware that this is a fantasy setting where the shark is evil and magical (#NotAllSharks) and are equally aware of how much of a shark advocate I am
TLDR: I love sharks but I also love making dumb jokes
