Commissioned @fishcapades to do some art from the current game I’m in (and this turned out so great, I’m super over the moon about it aaaahhh and that scarf omg). The guy on the left is my Casteless (but really behaves Full Moon to the bone) goat Lunar, Tenya, and the guy on the right is, believe it or not, Ma-Ha-Suchi.
Yeah, in this game he’s not locked in wolf-goat form, but is instead deeply posh and eccentric, which tends to mask the chimera crazy…most of the time. In place of the wrecked palace and beastman camps, he’s got freaking Versailles in the middle of the jungle.
Anyway this is what happens when a feral forest barbarian stumbles into the Lair of an extremely lonely elder Lunar. They’ve got this whole ‘odd couple’ thing going and it is ridiculous and adorable.

He’s probably not so bad! …when he’s at home, when he has a servant or two to fetch him ginger tea and draw him baths and whatever he wants to read. I’m not sure the servants are very charmed by it, and Manus is probably way less polite and formal than he likes to be with them when he’s sick. Does he complain a lot? Well, he doesn’t think so.
I do not doubt that to a normal group Manus is absolutely miserable when he’s sick.
