In fairness, I had never seen nor heard of a roundabout until I got to college?

I don’t know if it was just because of where I lived growing up but we didn’t have those. It’s my understanding that they’re useful for heavily trafficked areas that would become really blocked off if one we’re to use a lighted intersection (or heaven forbid a four way stop).

um they exist and i have a deep hatred of them

Roteries are God’s gift to mankind and every other kind of intersection should be replaced with one thank you.
