this is my new boy! he doesn’t have a name yet but i am working on it. he’s a Sidereal, a Chosen of Secrets who came from a tribe of owlfolk out in a forest to the east. he’s got great hearing and night vision but is sort of day-blind, so wears little dark spectacles. he’s quite shy and awkward around many groups in Yu-Shan, so tends to trail around after his sifu at parties (to lots of jokes about him being tied to her apron strings).
his blade is edged in starmetal but mostly made of one of the stars of Malfeas Orabilis flung into the sky- an ancient scholar who learned too much and was turned into a burning orb of Malfean glass. someone once shot down this star and made of it a blade, its glass edge knapped into razor-sharpness. it has a strong personality, very curious and inquisitive and alien, and owlboy here is becoming good friends with it.
