Haven’t made any art in a while hhhhh. but anyways, here’s @blueswapuniverse Blue Pearl! tried doing a stained glass style thing? (it took longer than the paper style orz) Couldn’t decide which one was better, so posting both! doesn’t look the best on desktop by the way (aka best viewed on mobile!)

Woah-ho-ho, this is flipping awesome! Seriously, amazing! Dude, wow, just wow! Everyone flipping look at this!

Yesterday’s Exalted game:

20% Harrow having a really tragic emotional breakdown in her room, explaining that she thinks she’s been dragging other people into her fantasy of being a glorious and exciting Solar Leader and getting them killed, and refusing to leave her room.

80% the rest of the party dealing with the 600 appointments that Harrow made with various visiting dignitaries, merchants, and ambassadors, all of whom expected to see her that day, by having our nervous Manipulation 1 Night caste use Flawlessly Impenetrable Disguise to become a replacement Harrow.

Sil!Harrow found out that Harrow’s parents are now both dead and she’s been left a sizeable estate on Coral, then had to deal with an assassination attempt and is probably about to have a kickass rooftop fight in front of all those dignitaries while still disguised as Harrow, so I am looking forwards to some delightful fallout and also half of Creation being convinced that Harrow is secretly a daiklaive-wielding martial arts master.

It was one of my favorite sessions yet. Lots of sincere emotional character development interleaved with yakety-sax situational comedy.

Windsong spent half her time fussing over Harrow in her room, sneaking her food and trying to cheer her up like a pet bringing dead creatures to its human. She spent the other half her time handing the delegation crisis… mostly by dragging her Night Caste into the mess and abandoning them at the mercy of the diplomats.

This session also involved the triumphant return of one of my favorite NPCs: a swashbuckling seductive Lunar duelist called Anastasia. She used to work for an antagonist, and she and Windsong spent their first fight scene relentlessly flirting with each other and dance fighting (Yay sudden lust intimacies).

Anastasia’s neutral these days, and was at the gala in the previous session dancing with WS and making Harrow jealous. This session she popped up early wanting to join our crew (!!!), which lead to my favorite session highlight: Windsong informing her that the admiral was busy, taking a brief ooc moment to ask @myrastuff / @winterwombat about the (incredibly complicated democratic) command structure of the fleet in Harrow’s absence, before ignoring everything they said and telling the woman that SHE was in command (thank you very much) and signing her on. Part of said signing on involved negotiating a date.

Windsong’s first mutiny! Yayyy!

(Also we’re reaching a point where even the NPCs are commenting on the obvious UST between Harrow/WS, which amuses me greatly)

The Scarlet Empress returns. Turns out she went on holiday. Were you not getting the postcards? Ah well. Good job no-one over-reacted too badly in the mean time, huh?

“Vacation!?” the Great Houses scream,

“Where the hell did you go for vacation that you didn’t notice your empire falling to pieces?!”

The Empress glares at them over the top of her heart-shaped sunglasses, sipping some sort of tropical drink through a red plastic straw. “Next time,” she says, after a considered pause, “I’ll get a baby monitor.”

She walks past them in silence, carrying her small floral-patterned luggage through the looming doors of the Imperial Palace. The assembled leaders of the great houses are silent. Three of the most powerful Dragon-Blooded in the entire Realm pass out from embarrassment. Mnemon explodes.

so apparently this coworker of mine used to play a lot of dnd and he had an orc rogue i think, who’s obviously supposed to be a stealth-centric character. But instead of channeling his abilities into dexterity or anything else stealthy, he channeled it all into charisma for the sake of intimidation. Essentially he, a hulking and undexteritous orc, would attempt to sneak into a building. If he was spotted, he would roll for intimidation (and win almost every time) and shout “YOU DO NOT SEE GROGG” at them and proceed.
