Tonight in Exalted

A controlled PVP match proved two things:

1) Onslaught Penalties are AWFUL

2) In a fight between Marian and Knott, though the fight will always be close, Marian presently stands as the winner.

Is this a thing that is happening in exalted right now? BecauseI had a pvp encounter too (Well. Mostly?)

I recently had Liao Wen fight the circle’s Brawler (although it was a mirror version, i.e. an antag with the same stats as him just not the same intimacies) who we all usually refer to as Vegeta (because he has unironicaly said that he is the hype). Mostly a puncher and not much grapple. While a volcano erupted around them. And Ragnaros was let loose on another end of things.

Despite being jumped, Wen proved to be a bit too tough for poor Vegeta to do much about after her dropping the first hit on him and after that dictating the pace of the battle.

Little-known downsides of immortality:

  • Tearing your favourite article of clothing and discovering that it’s
irreplaceable because the technique of its manufacture has been lost

  • Realising you’ve thought of the perfect comeback to someone who’s been dead for three hundred years
  • Not being able to eat your favourite dish anymore because the source of some critical ingredient has gone extinct
  • Having strong opinions about sports that are no longer played

  • Getting a song from the 13th Century stuck in your head and being unable to get it out because you don’t remember how it ends and you’re the only person on Earth who knows it
  • That perfect pun you’ve been waiting forever for a chance to use stops working due to linguistic drift

Dawn Caste: I should put my wings up, maybe the beastmen will think that I am a bird person.
Eclipse Caste: What would a bird person being doing at the bottom of the ocean?
Dawn Caste: idk birds of a feather flock together?
Eclipse Caste: That doesn’t make any sense! Now you are just saying words that don’t mean anything!
Dawn Caste: 😀
