…Isn’t this how the whole: “Humans are hated by the Aliens” thing started?

Didn’t humans find the ME Relay in Pluto’s moon and go through it only to find a ton of Turian ships? Didn’t the humans immediately open fire and initiate a war because “OMG clearly dangerous aliens?!?”

Didn’t this war vilify humans to the rest of the galaxy (excepting maybe the Krogan) for a number of years before we were accepted into the politics that were the organized galaxy?

Please tell me this is not going to be a game about becoming what I truly despised about humanity

Turians attacked the humans first. Turian’s didn’t know humans were just now entering the galactic community, and we’re just doing their duty. Humans retaliated because what the Turian’s did was an act of war.

Also: humans were hated by other aliens for several reasons. 1, they colonized lots of worlds Batarians had prepared for themselves, and the council has shown special treatment to the humans. Getting a council seat after only a few decades while races like the Volus who have been in the government since nearly the beginning have to share offices.
