A) I’m fairly certain the troubles that followed the party around were mostly his fault. It was mostly Sidereals looking to take him out or circumstantial bad guys we stumbled into because of some other bad luck related incident.
B) I assume you’re talking about Exalted!Tabor
C) The answer is not really that exciting.
I have a thing about creating characters who get supernatural abilities or extreme destinies and all they really want is to be average everyday mortals. If you were to give all of those characters a leader it would be Tabor.
There’s a reason some of my characters refer to him as “Ta-boring” the guy just wants to go full day where nothing goes wrong. He wants to live within his means and work at a basic job and form meaningful relationships with people.
So if he had managed to get rid of that curse and didn’t have to go adventuring with Cybran, Azarus, and Hiko (which, to him, all seemed a little crazy) he would have gone back to that little village where he had saved that girl fro bandits and legitimately attempted to just live a normal life.
Of course, I doubt that would have lasted very long. With limited numbers, the Sidereals would still be on his case. Not only that, but the curse was actually guarding him from them; the soulsteel tattoo that the curse was attached to obscured his fate. They’d be on him pretty quickly and he’d continue to refuse to get wrapped up in all of this crazy malarky.
And he would probably die without outside intervention.
