I had a thought. Its unrealistic and would never happen, but imagine an exigent of lytek. An exalt of the god of exaltation.
I actually love this idea because think of the charmset you could have themed around uplifting, empowering, cleansing, refining things. Craft would be all about improvement, repair. Integrity about helping other people get over past convictions or recycling them into new ones. War might come easily to them, easily forming social groups and transforming them into units. A lot of charms giving benefits to others by playing off their beliefs- maybe temporarily upping the level of their intimacies? I am not great with mechanics but the fluff of it is just really exciting and beautiful
I really love this too. I think it’s easy to get caught up in always thinking of Exigents as having charmsets directly related to their god and their purview, but we’ve seen that’s not always the case. Your Exaltation Exigent doesn’t have to be all about literal exaltation, but, as @shiftingpath pointed out, the themes of exaltation. The lifting up and caring of things and people and ideals.
And you could have some REALLY cool backstory with this too.
Maybe Lytek watched the Usurpation and the Great Contagion and saw Exalts losing so much of what he believed made them great. Maybe he saw his dwindling authority in Yu Shan as the world moved away from the glorious past. Maybe he knew his trembling hands were no longer enough to keep the Exalted at their best in a Creation so diminished. And maybe he used a great whole of his power and petitioned the Sun for one last boon, the chance to send out a representative of his own for once, someone to go and help all the Exalted that he has loved for so long. Someone to embody his ideals and go where he cannot, do what he cannot.
And maybe, for all that Lytek has cared for and tended to the Exalted for his entire existence, he doesn’t really understand that when you exalt a mortal with a piece of your power, they are free to decide what to do with it.
A Lytek Exigent could also be a great part of an Abyssal/Infernal plotline: Lytek realizing something has gone Horribly, Horribly Wrong because a chunk of the Solar Exaltations are still missing, and creating an Exigent to go figure out what’s happened while he’s stuck in Yu Shan.
And gosh, I love the idea of Absentminded Professor Grandpa Lytek (at least that’s how I played him) dealing with a rebellious Exigent child.
@mr-mercutio and I were talking about it and generally agreed that we love it when you have an exigent whose skill set and personality are way off the god’s. Like you expect squirrely nerd Lytek to find some dedicated craftsman who is precise and perfectionist, but like having his exigent being some hot-headed revolutionary who wants rights for the peasants of the Isle or a great athlete who physically ascends to higher and higher terrain as she makes new records, I just think that’s a lot more interesting

So what tree has the charm that makes you get blindsided by sidereals and have half of your stuff stolen?
I was going to bring that up in the original response and then forgot to, I was going to say what a great moment that would be for Lytek to decide he needed someone to go out and protect/unite his Chosen. He’s already weak enough the Sidereals can do what they want; he wonders how much longer he will be strong enough to afford his own Exaltation. He chooses a sharpshooter, a woman with an eagle eye, who travels from village to village, competition to summer faire to challenge, and lives off the silver she earns from her wins. He blesses her, she who can think of little but renown and honing her aim, and he hopes that she will use her now-legendary bow to defend him when they come again.
This was my day. This and Fallout.

The First Discovery Zone opened up in January 1990. They went Bankrupt in December 1999. There never is and never will be anything as 90′s as Discovery zone.
Okay, it’s time to share my only DZ story.
When I was really little, my mom took me to Discovery Zone because it meant she could take a little break while I played around. I could spend all day up in those tubes. It was an absolute blast.
One day, my mom received a tap on her shoulder from another parent. They pointed at the ring slide and asked, “is that your child?”
Sure enough, it was me; naked as the day I was born and happy as a lark. My mom came over and asked where my clothes were. “I got hot,” I said. The young boy who slid down after me handed my mother a sock.
It turns out that I had, in fact, gotten to hot and had proceeded to remove a single article of clothing so long as that feeling persisted. My clothes were scattered around the tubes. I don’t know how long we spent gathering them all up and getting me dressed, but as soon as I was clothed again we left.
We never went back to DZ after that.
Last weekend’s lake pictures!
Honestly is Hope were to end up travelling back home with Hestus and Nina in tow, her family would be thrilled. It’s been forever since their daughter went off on her grand assignment.
The Mountain is a hugger so you can bet he’d be scooping the three of them into a massive hug.
Faith would just find Nina and Hestus to be absolutely precious. Especially Hestus.
Pru would stop from her busy work to say hello and then likely marvel at Hestus’ limbs.
Snow would adore Nina to pieces.
Winter would wake up from a nap long enough to say hello but we’re not sure how long she would last after that.
Light would be inspired to start a new project and end up super distracted.
There would be a huge feast and Hope’s family would set up the guest beds and everyone would sit around and have a grand time; and in the morning Hope would be up bright and early, back to helping with the farm chores like she did before she left. Like nothing ever changed.
