Phineas, what’s your favorite flower to grow? Do you grow any magical plants?

Oh! I actually really like Succulents. They don’t take a ton of work and they’re really unique land plants that I’m not used to. I’m also a fan of Elder-Vine because the seed pods are bioluminesent.

I don’t handle a lot of magical plants; most of those tend to be fae touched (like, seriously, they come from the Faerie Realm) or you have to have perfect conditions in order to maintain them. The closest I grow to anything magical are the flowers in my ‘Witch’s Garden.’ That’s mostly common herbs and a small section of poisonous plants that I trade with the local Witches.

I did hear there’s this weird glowing flower that takes on an appearance based on some outside force. So, say you touch it with a red feather before it blooms; it will get red and feathery. I haven’t seen any though.

Do any of your characters have college degrees?

Marian has a Masters Degree in Business Administration as well as a Bachelors Degree in Legal Studies. She has considered going to Law School to get her JD Degree in order to take the Bar Exam, but hasn’t seen the need.

Hope has a Liberal Arts Degree that she mostly got to get into the Military.

Wocky has a Bachelors Degree in Music Education (though the school she works at is starting to insist on her getting her Masters)

Masozi is working on his Doctorate in Environmental Science with a focus on Urban Zoology

Naila is also working on her own Doctorate in Biochemistry

Salih has a number of degrees under a number of different names, mostly in business and scientific fields.

Marley actually has a complete Medical Degree, even if she’s only employed as a nurse.

Asherah has a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice

Sherwood, weirdly enough, has a Bachelors Degree in Economics

Forrest has a PhD (somehow) in Entomology ((he also lives in a Tree in the park if that tells you how his life is going))

Gwyn has a Mechanical Engineering Bachelors that’s actually legit

Sweeper has a Mechanical Engineering Masters that is likely a forgery (but no one can prove anything because the kid is a genius and a robot)

Piperit has some sort of degree but I’m not sure in what?

Sarosh has a Doctorate in Music Theory and Education (he’s also a college professor and all of his students hate him just a little bit)

Tybalt has the same education as Marian, but he’s actually attending Law School for his JD in order to take the Bar Exam.

Pinkie Plunder and Prism Song both went to school for Liberal Arts Degrees

And I have a chunk of characters whose most common timeline puts them at “still attending Undergraduate”: Alice, Marcus, Jade, Yuki, Tink, Dawn, Jacqueline, and Luviia

Nadia

Original Universe: FATE

Nadia’s family was long stalked by a Basilisk who sought to destroy them. At least one of her parents was a great Wizard who, upon their death, cast a final spell to save their daughter. The spell blinded the Basilisk to keep it from killing, but it also blinded Nadia. Neither could harm the other so long as both of them lived.

Nadia grew up in an orphanage having not known much about her parents. It was underfunded and harsh, but she managed to maintain a smile. While she could not see things in the material world, she found she was capable of seeing spirits and quickly came to befriend local ghosts. One of her other major friends was a young boy who turned out to be the son of the basilisk. Neither of them held any resentment for the other, nor did either of them know of the fate that tied them together. The Basilisk thought they could use this connection to their advantage.

Nadia came to find she was very convincing, magically so. She unknowingly used her abilities to calm fears and end fights; a hope to bring peace and joy to those around her. A visiting member of the Wardens witnessed these events and took it upon himself to train and take care of Nadia, to be sure she didn’t violate the laws of magic. Through him, Nadia came to know his son (whom I remember very little about).

Eventually Nadia grew too old for the orphanage, but with the help of those she had befriended was able to strike out on her own. She ends up attending the stage show of a Handsome Magician who uses Simulacrum to perform crazy tricks (and date tons of women).

That’s most of what I got through with her. We played maybe one session after character creation with Nadia and her crew; but she has a lot of interesting potential. The story has a great cast: A blind girl that’s the unknowing prey of a Basilisk, the son of a great Warden who feels ignored by his father, and a street magician playboy who might actually know real magic.

Dating Sweeper

Pros:

  • He will do literally anything for you
  • All he wants to do is help
  • Your internet will be super fast
  • You will never have to pay for movies again
  • He will cook you gourmet meals that he downloaded instructions to from the internet
  • He will tell you he loves you at least three times a day every day
  • He’s adorable and dresses nice

Cons:

  • There are none he is perfect
  • He is not very street smart
  • Most of his computer work is illegal
  • He’s kind of heavy and weird to touch because he’s basically a robot
  • Your food will be really bland because he can’t really taste it
  • He will tell you he loves you at least 300 times a day
  • He talks like a robot and that’s a little weird
  • If you’re into sex then I’m sorry but the kid doesn’t have compatible parts
  • One or more major corporations might be trying to steal/eliminate him

Side Note: Be prepared to take in every stray in town and protect this dumb child from himself

Conclusion: It will be the best decision you ever make but it is not one you should ever take lightly. You must be prepared for the complete experience that is Sweeper

Dating Wocky

Pros:

  • She’s very attractive
  • She’s a literal goddess
  • Her singing voice is incredible and she will serenade you all the time
  • She’s super kind
  • She has a good sense of humor so she’ll never get too upset about things
  • She likes to have fun so you’ll never be bored

Cons:

  • Her music sometimes causes insanity
  • She makes really poor decisions when bored
  • She will disappear without telling you and forget her phone and then won’t apologize when you finally find her again
  • Her practical jokes can occasionally border on harmful
  • She has trouble separating fantasy from reality
  • She might propose to you in the hopes of sealing your soul inside a magic ring before casting you into the darkest depths of the ocean (that you’re still mad about existing)

Side Note: She might have some repressed poly feels so be careful

Conclusion: I mean, if you can handle this troublemaker then power to you. She spend most of her last marriage poisoning her husband and running off at night disguised as all manner of different people.

Dating Marian

Pros:

  • You will be fiercely protected by someone I previously mentioned is perfectly capable of killing people with her fists
  • She will buy you nice things
  • She’s super affectionate and a total romantic
  • If you’re into sex, she’s incredible in bed and will do basically whatever
  • If you’re not into sex she will happily sit around with you in PJs reading books and falling asleep all tangled up
  • Core values include “Consent is Everything” and “Family First”

Cons:

  • Do not expect exclusivity because she will drop you faster than a box of rocks
  • Do not play games with her because she does not take kindly to that
  • Do not insult Discord
  • She sleeps around a lot
  • She has to divide her attention between a lot of people so you might not get as much alone time with her as you thought
  • While she respects a lack of desire for sex, she has needs and she would rather fulfill them than not
  • She’s got a lot of baggage and issues with things like self loathing and can occasionally be a lot to handle

Side Note: Turn some cons into pros by instigating a rivalmancy! Just make sure you’re prepared to fight her…

Conclusion: If you don’t mind the fact that she’s extremely sexually active and irresponsibly poly she’s a good person to date. You’ll always be loved and respected. Please just remind her to take care of herself too.
